As of Jan 1, 2015, the EU Energy Commission now requires the energy class rating arrows and labels to be published on retailer e-commerce websites online for products released to market after Jan 1st for all relevant categories.
The EU energy label is designed to provide consumers with accurate, recognizable and comparable information on domestic household products regarding energy consumption, performance and other essential characteristics.
